A Note from Marie
June 13, 2009 by Tara Lacher
As my “knitting time” is limited at this time, I am sending you all of the pink yarn in my stash. However, I do plan on knitting more scarves for your very worthy cause in the future.
What you have done for breast cancer patients is truly wonderful!

Hi Tara.My name is Kim Boger,I was the male model at the recent breast cancer awareness deal at the hilton in GF.Wow what a honor it was to receive that PINKSCARF for being a breast cancer survivor.I think that is such a cool deal that u have started,if only I could knit.Well I have to tell u that I had to give my scarf away, which I hope it doesn\’t upset u to much which I\’m sure it won\’t.My friend and hair stylist who happens to be the one that shaved my head and found me a razor that made my life so easy staying shiney not shaggy was just diagnosed with breast cancer. She just had a double masectomy on tues of this week.To mk a long story short,I\’m going to give the scarf to her because I know how cold it is to walk into the Cancer Center for ur regular chemo or radiation treatments and she will be doing this through the winter months. All I want u to know is that the time I had that scarf has mean\’t tons to me.I know Holly will use it for ever. Thanks again,Kim Boger.
