Update from the University of Wisconsin-Stout

May 22, 2008 by Tara Lacher

I heard from Erin with Threads, the fiber arts group, at the University of Wisconsin-Stout.  She wrote:  “We have collected a total of 74 scarves for your cause and they have been donated to Sacred Heart Hospital in Eau Claire, Wisconsin; Red Cedar Hospital in Menomonie, Wisconsin; Aurora Bay Care Medical  Center in Green Bay, Wisconsin; and Mayo Clinic in Minneaspolis, Minnesota.  Threads is so grateful for such a wonderful service opportunity.  Thank you, again.”

Thank you,Threads, for volunteering to help my cause.  74 women’s lives will be touched because of your generosity and kindness.

I am dealing with breast cancer now and have had both breast removed long with my leftside lympnodes. I will be starting radialion soon and I am wondering how I can get a scarf. I live in Milwaukee and working with Froedert Hospital. I live alone but my friends and children have been my strength.
