Relay for Life Survivor’s Dinner

On June 6, 2008 the Relay for Life Survivor’s Dinner was held at the Mandan Community Center and I was invited to display my pink scarves.  The turnout was incredible – over 500 survivors/guests were in attendance!

I shared my pink scarf project with the survivors that evening.  I also had the priviledge of presenting a scarf to Ava Brae Jacobs – age 2.  She is incredible!  You can read more about Ava on her Caring Bridge Site:  http://www.caringbridge.org/visit/avabrae. 

Approximately 50 scarves were handed out to cancer survivors that evening.   What an evening it was!
