Article in Women’s World Magazine

August 9, 2008 by Tara Lacher

Women’s World magazine wrote a story about my pink scarves in their July 28th issue.

The response from the story has been overwhelming!  There have been women from all over the United States and Canada who have volunteered to knit/crochet scarves, start chapters in their area, and provide donations.

I’m thrilled to know that there so many wonderful women who are willing to volunteer and who want to be part of this amazing project.  Thank you.  Your time and talent are greatly appreciated!

I am a 2-year breast cancer survivor. I just heard of this marvelous project. Is there a special scarf pattern? How/where do I contribute scarves? Thanks.

    Hi Tara,

I saw your article in Women’s World Magazine (July 28, 2008) and asked them how I can get involved with this project.

I am a knitter and a member of the Cancer family. I live in California.

thank you for all you do.

    Rita

What a wonderful thing you have started for our Cancer friends. I, too would like to make some scarfs and was wondering if you had a pattern for them abd how do you find people needing them?
