Television Possibly?

August 25, 2008 by Tara Lacher

I was contacted by Aurea McGarry who hosts her own TV talk show in the Atlanta area.  She features  people who are either founders of non-profit organizations or huge volunteers for one.  It airs on the famous ION station (formerly PAX) which is in over 2 million households around Atlanta and north Georgia up to Chattanooga, TN.  It’s called “Live Your Legacy with Aurea McGarry!”  Check out her website at http://www.liveyourlegacy.biz.

After a wonderful conversation, Aurea stated that she is interested in having me on as a guest.  She thought it may be some time between now and the first of the year.  I’ll keep you posted.  Aurea is also a cancer survivor.  A pink scarf is on it’s way!

I would very much like to send scarves that I am knitting. Where do I send them?
I did not find your website easy to navigate for something like that.
Thanks so much. God bless you for starting this. It is a wonderful thing. I had two breast tumors 10 years apart. They were both benign, thank God, BUT the fear was there while waiting for the report to come back. I am deeply touched in such a simple way you are letting other Sisters know we all care about each other.

I just received a pink scarf and I am so touched. AS you know it feels so good to have someone care and think about you. I was wondering if you have a pattern for knitting the scarves? I used to knit and think I could get back into it. Thank you so much, The one I received is so soft. It’s like a special hug from someone who cares and knows what I will be going through. With much appreciation, Claudia
